Who operates Searchbase Cloud?
Coolapso AB operates the hosted service. Its terms identify a Swedish company with organisation number 559591-2956 and registered office in Kiruna.
Is all processing limited to Europe?
The managed application infrastructure and application logs are hosted on Scaleway in Europe. Searchbase also uses Hanko Cloud for authentication, Creem for payments, Staan for search and optional PostHog analytics. Its privacy policy expressly says that European application hosting does not mean every provider or requested website processes data exclusively in Europe. PostHog is headquartered in the United States.
Does Searchbase Cloud store search queries or fetched pages?
Its privacy policy states that queries, fetched URLs, request bodies and response bodies are not stored or logged. Operational and billing metadata are retained. Staan receives query text and search options, while fetched websites receive requests for their content.
