Submit an Open-Source Project

Know an open-source project that could be a great alternative to a popular US service? We'd love to hear about it. Please provide the following information:

  • Project name
  • Project website URL
  • Repository URL (GitHub, GitLab, Codeberg, etc.)
  • License (e.g., MIT, AGPL-3.0, Apache 2.0)
  • What category or categories it belongs to
  • What US/international services it is an alternative to (if applicable)

Please make sure the project meets our listing criteria before submitting:

  1. OSI-approved license — no “source available,” “non-commercial,” or Commons Clause licenses
  2. Self-hostable with official documentation — Docker Compose, Helm, or OS packages with official docs
  3. Actively maintained — release or meaningful commit activity within the last 12 months
  4. Day-2 readiness — upgrade/migration and backup/restore documentation
  5. Security reporting path — SECURITY.md, dedicated email, or disclosure process
  6. No SaaS trap — self-hosted version must work without a proprietary vendor cloud backend
